Seeking death place and date of: Amos Franklin CULP b: Apr 19, 1835 Kentucky +Amelia Caroline MAHONEY b: Abt 1838 Alabama The Culp family were authorized to go to Mexico to colonize in 1895. It is also known that a land patent of 160 acres, was given to A .F. Culp on the east fork of Red river, now known as Sulphur River, in 1863 by Governor F.R. Lubbuck. The Culps moved to Gustine, Comanche County, Texas where he died and is buried. Caroline Culp is buried in the Hughes Springs, Texas Cemetery. It is poss ible that Amos' parents were H. My grandmother Violet Jesmal PRICE was born in Mexia,Limestone county,on Christmas day 1899. She is the daughter of Christine Elizabeth Jones and I'm not sure of her father's name,possibly Walter or Houston PRICE. She had sisters named Claudie and Dot and brothers Walter and Wilburn.
