Looking for information on my great grandfather Frank Ripley ADAIR b dec 1 1851 d april 14 1920 and his wife Eliza (maden name unknown) b feb 14 1867 d feb 6 1925 I know of two children Fletcher ADAIR (my grandfather) b may 12 1879 d jan 31 1962 and his s ister Lydia Adair THETFORD b mar 19 1890 d apr 1 1978 I have heard that Frank ADAIR had a brother Sam ADAIR but have no other information on him. All of the above are baried in the Fort Parker Cemetary .

Alva, the father of Luther, died in 1887 in Hardin County Texas, in the home of his sister, AlvaElena (s p) Hudiburgh at Olive Hill. Alva and Luther were Cumberland Presbyterian ministers. Bother were active in the church and in education. Alva was president of Purdy College (Purdy Tennessee-- McNairy Co) before the Civil War. Luther died in 1900 in Tehuacan a TX.
