Unit was started from Norfolk Va. Naval Landing Force & Equipment base, from there to Advance Base Training Center San Bruno CA on or about 26 Dec 1944, put on a Troop Ship, on about two months later landed A Subic Bay, Luzon Philippines, set up tents and started a Naval Base Called Olongapo.
