PIONEER CEMETERY
Overton, Nevada


Sarah COOPER's grave is a cement encasement. The top soft sand cover of the encasement has eroded and all that can be read is "S", possibly an "a" or "o" and for numbers is "15". A foot stone reads "SC". The headstone used for these three graves lists "Sarah Cooper 1847-1904". The grave is located next to Mendis COOPER. Mendis COOPER's wife was Sophia Bowman PRINCE born 15 Nov 1850 and died 31 Dec 1935. I believe this is who is buried here, however the tombstone states otherwise.(P. Scott)
