  • Subject: Austin - Wilson wedding, 1912

From the Melrose Chronicle [Melrose, Jackson Co., Wisconsin], Friday June
    12, 1912

    AUSTIN - WILSON

Many friends in Melrose and vicinity of Miss Inez Wilson will be interested
to learn that she was recently united in marriage to Mr. Maurice Austin.
The ceremony took place at Devil's Lake, North Dakota, May 29th, 1912, and
the following day Mr. and Mrs. Austin came to Melrose and will be guests
for a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Young.

The groom is a successful young business man, connected with the Post
Lumber Company, and has charge of the company's retail yard at Rosetown,
    Sask., Canada.

The bride is too well known to Chronicle readers to need any introduction.
She was reared to womanhood in Melrose and graduated from the village
schools, later attending the schools of Sparta, and for the past eight
years has been a successful teacher.

Mr. and Mrs. Austin will commence housekeeping at Rosetown, Canada, as soon
as a brief visit among relatives in this locality is concluded. Their many
friends extend best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
