Looking for info on Harvey Martin, born in Russell County and died in Pulaski County in 1916. He was a Civil War veteran and I have several letters he wrote during the war. I would like a picture to go with the words.

I am looking for information on the Calfee family of Wythe and Pulsaki County, especially the descendants of John Calfee and Sallie Riggin (spelling varies) or his brother William . I believe that either Elizabeth Davis Calfee and William or Mary or Nancy or Jane Davis and James are my great, great, great grandparents but can't tell which. They are descended from John or William, but I don't know through which line. I am also looking for the burial sites of these and other relatives at or near the Calfee Cemetery near Big Reed Island Creek which a distant relative recorded over 50 years ago. Any help would be much appreciated. I already book on the Calfees published by a distant relative and would be eager to share any info I have with those interested. Thank you. P.S. My father is Robert G. Calfee still of Radford. Grandparents: Riley Temple and Janie Peterson Calfee. Great grandparents: James L.(Lee? Lehew? buried where?) Josephine S. Riley Calfee. Great, great grandparents: James D. and Nancy Sayers Calfee. James Davis descended from John or William above and many of these ancestors are buried at the Calfee cemetery which I know the location of but have never visited.

He was married for a while to Mary Magdelene Gleason. She was born in 1903 in Pulaski to William Gleason and Sadie Matilda Hall.

Looking for information on Rhoda King who married Lankford Hall in Pulaski Co. 24April1859. I know she was born in 1811 in Wythe Co, but I cannot find her death record. Also there is supposedly a marriage contract on file in Pulaski, but I have been unable to find it on my few visits there. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for data about Rev. Zecharia Mitchell and his wife Elizabeth Newland. Both lived in Pulaski Co, in 1800s. Zecharia b. Dec 18, 1791 d. Jan 18, 1872, and Elizabeth b. in 1797 d. Feb 28, 1878. I'm looking for any information about either's parents. Zecharia was a minister for the Holsten Methodist Church.

John Whittaker m: Louisa Snider (Snidow?) 1837 in Montgomery Co Va. Who are their parents and siblings? Is John the s/o Joseph Whittaker of Wythe Co (who is the s/o Joseph Whittaker b: 1755 at sea according to Mercer Co WV History and who are related to the Pulaski & Giles Co Whittakers) Are these people related to the John Whittaker that claimed disability in Tazewell Co records?
