|Mellott, In memory of John, Who departed 8th A.D., __45, aged 69 years, 3mos 15days I believe John is also a son of Theodore Meelott, and the year of death is 1845, but the first two numbers are completely lost.|

|Mellott, Deliah, wife of Joseph Mellott, died Nov. 9, 1865, In her 35th year Believe to be the wife of John Wesley Mellott (b. Ca. 1828), who is probably a son of Peter (ca. 1777 - 1863) and Hester Pittman Mellott (ca. 1779 - 1866)|
|Melott, Malaha, wife of John D. Melott, died Feb. 13, 1857, aged 77 years, 6 mos, and 3 days John (ca. 1811 - 1886) is believed to be the son of Theodorus (ca. 1788 - 1863) and Elizabeth Trimbley Mellott.|
