This cemetery is located on Rt 214, off US 40, at the junction of CR30. It is on the slope of a high hill and covers 6 acres, and was founded in 1840. Many Civil War soldiers are buried here. (Ref.) Tombstone Inscriptions & Family Records of Belmont County, Ohio, Publ. by E.W. Powell in 1969.
