| "The cemetery is located on
the south side of Smith Gage Rd. and west of Smith Valley High School. The cemetery was abandoned when crops were irrigated in the area, raising the water table. Land for a new cemetery was donated and some of the burials were moved to Hillcrest Cemetery near Wellington, Nevada. The cemetery is badly overgrown with brush and weeds." ......Dawnetta B. |
