COLORADO Additions/Updates Week of August 7, 2000 Colorado USGenWeb Archives Project An "as it happens" new files report can always be found on the Recent Uploads Page Highlights: Judy Crook, a long time western Colorado contributor, is back with us!!! The Cox Family completed their two year project transcribing the Hillside Cemetery, Saguache. This report contains uploads since July 12. Adams County Karen Stanley donated three precincts from her, in progress, transcription of the 1920 US Census. Custer County Shirley Evans donated transcriptions of the stones in the Assumption Cemetery, Silver Cliff; the Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Westcliffe and the Silver Cliff Cemetery. Douglas County Alicia Poreda donated a transcription of the Newlin Family Cemetery near Parker. Garfield County Judy Crook donated a transcription of the Moose Lodge section of the Rose Hill Cemetery, Rifle. Montezuma County Tom Vaughn donated his transcriptions of three obits. Park County Shirley Murphy and Joe & Lucy Brown donated their transcription of the Fairplay Cemetery Headstones. Saguache County The Cox family completed their transcription of the Hillside Cemetery near Saguache. This completes a two-year project. Colorado Tombstone Transcription Project Many new registrations received. The new transcriptions are all noted above. Colorado Tombstone Photo Project - We have uploaded new headstone photos for: Cemeteries listed have new photos. Contributors were too numerous to list individually here. I still have about 80 photos of the Farisita Cemetery, Huerfano County and 32 photos of the DeBeque Cemetery, Mesa County in my inbox to process and upload.
