County Seat - Fairplay
(1861-1868 Tarryall City; 1868-1870 Buckskin)
Population - 14,523
Park County is one of the original Colorado counties. Only minor changes have been made to its 1861 borders. In 1908 a small piece of southern Jefferson County was added to Park County.
