When the Packwood Hotel burned down, there was some consternation in the Fannaly Family. Mrs. John Joseph Fannaly (nee Veronica Yokum) was in labor at home directly next door to the burning hotel and it was not advisable to move her. Her daughter Eunice Fannaly Wright was born in the wee hours February 14, 1907, to an anxious family.
