Homer S. Jenkins Sr.

Services for Homer S. Jenkins, Sr., 76, of Schenkel Lane, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel. He died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday at the King's Daughters' Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Burial will be in the Sunset Gardens.

A native of Franklin County, he was a retired employee of the National Distillery with 30 years service. He was a member of the Frankfort Senior Citizens, Loyal Order of Moose, a Kentucky Colonel and the Belleview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Martin Jenkins, Frankfort, son, Homer Jenkins Jr., Georgetown, daughter, Mrs. Jean Doris McIntosh, Newport, step-son John Russell Turner, Versailles, and brother, John W. Jenkins, Frankfort.

Mr. Jenkins was the son of the late Harvey and Sarah Brumble Jenkins. The Rev. Harold Hamm and Russ Hatter will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Foster, Richard Weese, Paul Jones, Stanley Butler, Tommy Kirk and Onnie Nunley.
