Rev. W. C. Stoehr will officiate with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Spohn, the former Martha Laedtke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Laedtke, was born October 5, 1871 in the Town of Washington, where she lived until marriage. On April 15, 1895 she became the bride of Gustav Spohn, who died in April of 1947. Following her marriage, she lived a year in Cecil, then moving to Underhill where they operated a farm for 23 years before moving back to Cecil where they spent 16 years. From Cecil, they moved to Lyndhurst, where Mrs. Spohn lived until she became ill. Survivors include four children; Mrs. Emma Deihl, Buffalo, New York; Alfred, Shawano; (Marie) Mrs. Walter Breitzman, and (Martha) Mrs. Alfred Krueger, Shawano. 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Mrs. Anna Bublitz, Pine Island, Minnesota, and Emma, Mrs. Fred Blaese, Wittenburg; two brothers, Fred and Carl Laedtke, Cecil. Friends may call at the Alfred Krueger residence where she had formerly lived from this evening until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the residence, and from there will go to the church. Pallbearers will be Alvin Spohn, Donald Soyck, Willard Tetting, Marvin Breitzman, Lester Boettcher, and Ceylon Zueske, who are all grandchildren of Mrs. Spohn.
