  GENSKOW, Heinrich, a faithful member of Emanuel’s Congregation in 

Town Grant, has passed away on 21 February 1915.  



He was born on 31 October 1862 in Town Pella and confirmed by Pastor P. Diehl

of this congregation on 28 May 1876.  On 5 December 1893 he married Adonie 

SCHOENING.  Their marriage was blessed with seven children of which one has

preceded the father in death while in early childhood.  



Mr. Genskow has been seriously ill for the past three weeks.  



Surviving are: his aged 81 year old father, his grief stricken wife, six children, 

four sons and two daughters.  The youngest child was four years old this month.  

Four brothers also survive.  They are Johann, Carl, August and Albert Genskow.  

Mr. Genskow reached the age of 52 years, 3 months and 20 days.  



Pastor Baumann read from 1 Moses 48:21, “and Israel spoke, behold I die; 

and God will bring you again into the land of your father.”  Amanda 

Hoffmann, Ella Baumann, Linda Reinke and Esther Potratz carried the beautiful flowers.
