Laedtke, 83, Cecil, died Wednesday, January 27. He had been a patient at Hickory Grove, De Pere and had been ill for two and one half years. Mr. Laedtke was born April 16, 1881 in the Town of Washington. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. John Laedtke. He lived on a farm in that township and on April 28, 1916 married Emma Blaese. She proceeded him in death. The couple lived in the Town of Hartland and the Town of Underhill for six years. Mr. Laedtke had been a resident of Cecil for about forty-six years and had been a carpenter. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cecil. Survivors are three daughters and three sons. Hilda, Mrs. Frank Westerfeld, rural Pulaski; Ida, Mrs. Adolph Reimer, Cecil; Dorothy, Mrs. Fred Taylor, rural Bonduel; Alfred, Milwaukee; Frederick, route 2, Shawano; and Robert, Shawano. Other survivors are 24 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Cecil. The Rev. H. E. Wians will officiate and interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Cecil.
