Shawano Co, Wisconsin OBIT: SUBJECT: Obituary of JACKSON, Alvina Rachel (STARKS) SUBMITTER: EMAIL: DATE: Thurs 10 June 1915 - Big Falls News, Page 34 SOURCE: Volkesbote Wochenblatt (translated) JACKSON, Alvina Rachel (STARKS) was buried last Wednesday afternoon. She was born on 16 January 1848 in Orin, New York and came as a child with her parents to Royalton, Wis. Here she married her husband James Jackson in the year of 1876. They had four children, three sons and one daughter, of which a son and the daughter have preceded her in death. They came to Big Falls in 1895 and where they continued to reside. The deceased was a highly respected, faithful neighbor and friend who was always seeking to spread good will in her midst. In the year of 1902 her heartfelt desire was to adopt an orphan child and be a loving mother to that child as she was to her own children. She was taken from our midst and left an emptiness that can never be replaced. Mr. James Jackson and daughter Pearl traveled last Friday evening to Parish to be with his son Edward. We feel sorry for him in his loneliness. ----------------------------------------------------- USGENWEB ARCHIVES NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free genealogical information on the Internet, data may be freely used for personal research and by non-commercial entities as long as this message remains on all copied material.
