HENRY NORDWIG OF RICHMOND DIES AT HIS FARM HOME

Henry Nordwig, well known town of Richmond farmer, died at 6:30 AM today at his home. He had been ill for about one year.

Mr. Nordwig was 58. He was born Jan. 23, 1895i in the town of Seneca the son of Mr. & Mrs. Otto Nordwig, He lived in Seneca until about 8 years ago when he moved to his present farm in Richmond. Mr. Nordwig was widely known and active in community affairs. He was a veteran of World War I, was a church treasurer, had served as town of Seneca supervisor, and on the Seneca school board. He was a member of the Peace church of Tilleda.

He was married Aug. 15, 1919 at Tilleda to Ida Schroeder, who survives along with seven children, Milton of Leopolis; (Inez) Mrs. Evan Schilling of Marion; (May) Mrs. Ralph Gumtz of San Diego, Calif.; (Fern) Mrs. Alvin Speering of Kimberly; Ralph of Menasha; (Betty) Mrs. Heinhardt Teske of Shawano; and David at home.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, three brothers, Louis of Manitowoc, Raymond of Bowler, Harry of Bowler; and three sisters, (Marie) Mrs. Alb. Wedde of Clintonville; (Tillie) Mrs. Fred Kessen of Bowler and (Lydia) Mrs. Leonard McDonald of Watersmeet, Mich.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 PM at the Tilleda Peace church. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery, Shawano

INGA AMUNDSON DIED ON MONDAY 

Miss Inga Amundson, 76, died at 1:30 Monday at the Homme Home at Wittenberg after an illness of two years. Miss Amundson was born Aug. 6, 1877, at Navarino, the daughter of Gulbrand and Hermina Amundson. She was a member of the Navarino Lutheran church. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Marie Peterson of Wittenberg. 
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 Thursday at the Homme Home chapel and at 2 PM at the Navarino Lutheran church with Rev. Leon A. Holm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Navarino. Soloist will be Mrs. Ray Peterson with Mrs. Indvold Larson the organist. 

Friends may call at the Homme Home from 10 AM Thursday. The Schmidt Funeral Home of Wittenberg is in charge of arrangements.

Monday, June 29, 1953 

HARRY PRICKETTE DIES SUNDAY P. M. 

Harry Lo Prickette, 76, died at 8115 PM Sunday after being ill since last November. He was born at Merrill, Wis., on Feb. 28, 1877 the son of Mr.  & Mrs. Thomas Prickette. At the age of 16 he worked on his parent's farm near Hayes and worked in the woods around Suring until going to Milwaukee in 1911. He lived in Milwaukee until last November and then returned to Shawano. He was married to the former Dena Miller. She died in 1938. 

Survivors include one son, Irvin of West Allis; 2 daughters, Caroline , Mrs. Thomas Peterson of Milwaukee and Vesta, Mrs. Frank Tomashek of Milwaukee. One brother, Fred of Milwaukee and 1 sister, Ella, Mrs. James Martin of Keshena. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Karth Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery at Angelica. 



SHAWANO EVENTNG LEADER 
Friday, Feb. 6, 1953 

MRS. CHRISTIANSON SERVICES MONDAY 

Services will be held Monday afternoon at the Downing Funeral Home at Wittenberg for Mrs. Anna M. Christianson, 73, who died early this morning at the Homme Home for the Aged in Wittenberg. She had been ill for two years. Rev. Leon Holm will be in charge of the services. Mrs. Christianson had been a resident of the home since August of 1950. 

She was born June 6, 1879, at Navarino as Anna Amundson. She married Sept. 21, 1904 to Chris Christianson, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Harris of Mountain and Rudolph of Waterford; a daughter, Mrs. Harris Broan of Manitowoc; two sisters, Inga Amundson and Mrs. Marie Peterson, both of the Homme Home. There are 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Christianson was a member of the Norwegian Lutheran church at Navarino. Burial will be at the Homme Home cemetery.
