MRS. LOUISE AHLGRIMM DIES AT HOME IN PELLA 

Mrs. Louise Ahlgrimm who has long been a resident of Pella. died at 8:00 Monday morning at the farm home where she has lived since her marriage to August Ahlgrimm in 1885. 

The deceased was born in Germany on Oct. 10, 1860. coming to America with her parents at the age of 6 years. She lived in New York City 4 years and 3 years at Milwaukee. Her people came from there and settled in the town of Herman where she grew to womanhood and on Oct. 22, 1885, she was united in marriage. Mrs. Ahlgrimm is one of the old pioneers of that vicinity and has faithfully worked for the betterment of her home and community. She was a good Christian mother and was most beloved by those who came to know her during the long period of years she spent in Pella. 
Mrs. Ahlgrimm is survived by her husband, 3 daughters. Mrs. Emily Balke. Mrs. Fred Klitz and Mrs. Henry Brei, of Pella, and 2 sons; Clarence and Paul; who are on the home farm. Also one step-son, Wm. Ahlgrimm of Pella; one brother. Julius Brei of Embarrass and one sister, Mrs. Emily Gumms of Pella. There are also 9 grandchildren left to survive. 

Funeral services will be conducted at the Lutheran church in Pella on Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in the home cemetery.

M. C. AMUNDSON NAVARINO, DIED LAST EVENING COUNTY BOARD MEMBER SPENT LAST DAYS IN HOSPITAL SUFFERED FOR YEARS MERCHANT SERVED IN PUBLIC LIFE AT 21 YEARS 

M. C. Amundson, Navarino merchant and lifelong servant of the public, died 
at the Shawano Municipal Hospital last evening at 5:30 after suffering intensely from an ailment of many years. Death was given as carcinoma of the stomach. 

The death comes as a blow to the hundreds of acquaintances and friends which the county board member of only a year ago had in the community of Shawano County. Since he was 21 years of age, he worked for the public, and it is said that he always worked for the best interests of the public. Besides serving as county board member and chairman of the town for years, in his younger days he served as assessor and supervisor. 

Martin C. Amundson was not only a leader politically in his neighbourhood, but also was a social leader. He was a member of the Bethesda Church of Navarino and was active in church and other important community affairs. He stood for those things he thought were best for his community and his fellow man. 

Martin C. Amundson was 54 years, 11 months and 14 days of age at the time of his death. He was born in the town of Navarino, February 24, 1878. On Sept. 6, 1905 he married Christina Neilsen of Bear Creek. To this union were born five children, two of which survive the father. Clara and Esther mourn the death of their father with the widow. 

Four sisters also survive the deceased. They are Mrs. Anna Olson, Mrs. Clara Rasmussen, Mrs. Louise Christianson, and Mrs. Sina Schuman, all of the town of Navarino. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday in the town of Navarino. The body will be removed from the Manning-Schweers Funeral Home to the Amundson Home in Navarino today.

MRS. JOHN BOHR (nee Theresa Herback)

The funeral of Mrs. John Bohr .51. 313 N. Bennett St. who died early Monday. will be held at 8.30 Thursday morning at the Wichmann Funeral Home with services at 9800 at St. Edward Church, Mackville, in charge of the Rev. N.L. Gross. Burial will take place at Waukechon cemetery, Shawano. 

Survivors are the husband; two sons, George and Peter. Chicago, four sisters. Mrs. Lutsey Brei, Shawano, Mrs. Joseph Herback, Mrs. A.L. Little, Bay Harbor, Fla.  and Mrs. George Simpson. Costa Messa, Calif. 

Prayer hour will be held at 1:30 tonight at the Wichmann Funeral Home and also the Christian Mothers society at 7:30 Wednesday night there. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of the funeral.

MRS. CLAUSS SUCCUMBS ON THURS. Nov. 30 

ZILCH'S CORNER--Mrs. Oscar Clauss passed away Nov. 30th at her home in Mattoon. After being seriously ill for the past three weeks, Mrs. Clauss was 61 years and 4 days at the time of her death. 

She leaves to mourn, her husband, two sons, Wilbert and Clarence and five daughters, Bessie, Mrs. Bill Willings of Marion, Ethel, Mrs. Ray Willings, Iron Mountain, Mich., Lucy, Mrs. F. Gasser, Mattoon, Erma, Mrs. Alfred Bossell, Mattoon, Bernice, Mrs. H. Hinke of Milwaukee, 20 grandchildren and3 great grandchildren and five sisters besides many friends.

LEAVES TWO TO MOURN

Leopolis - Mrs. Eugene Peterson (Minnie) was laid to rest at the St. John's Lutheran cemetery on Saturday afternoon, December the 16th, the Rev. H. Stubenvoll officiating.

Minnie Bucholtz was born at Greenville, Outagamie county, on Jan. 26, 1856. In 1870 she moved with her parents to the town of Herman. On Oct. 8, 1883 she was married to Eugene Peterson, known in these parts as Pet Peterson, the Negro child, brought from the south during the Civil War by Ward Peterson of Belle Plaine. Mr. Peterson preceded her in death 15 years ago. She leaves to survive her two sons, Everett and Freeman of Leopolis, two daughters, Mrs. Essex Quinn of Des Moines, Iowa and Mrs. Floyd Pimmerton of Oshkosh, and one brother, Charles Bucholtz of Shawano and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Peterson suffered from a stroke about six years ago from which she never recovered. About 3 weeks before her death, her condition became worse. Respect to her children was most devoted at all times, and she was very much concerned about their welfare and fair dealings with those about them.
