WILLIAM BREHMER 

William Brehmer, 73, died Saturday morning at 4:00 at his home, 1129 Seventh avenue. The deceased was born in Stettin, Pomerania, Germany, Jan. 28, 1858. 

He was a wagon maker by trade while in that country. He served 3 years in the Germany Army and came to America in 1883. He reached Wisconsin when most of the state was covered with timber and Antigo was a small town. During the early part of his stay in Antigo, he worked for the Chicago and Northwestern railroad. Some years afterward he took up the house moving business. 

He was united in marriage to Hilda Schilling of Shawano County in 1888. Mrs. Brehmer died 5 years ago. Nine children were born to this union, three of whom died at any early age. 

The deceased leaves to mourn his death two daughters, Mrs. Eliza Reeves of Iron Mountain, Mich. and Mrs. Edward Brasch of Antigo, four sons; William, Jr. , Edwin, Clarence and Melvin. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. 
The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 at the home. Interment was in the Mausoleum.
