DIED

MCLEOD - at Twin Lakes Sunday, April 9th, 1882, of heart disease, Mrs. Deborah McLeod, aged 57 years.

Mrs. McLeod was born on Prince Edward's Island, N. B., in December 1825. Her maiden name was Deborah Linklighter. She married Daniel McLeod, of Mirimichi, where they lived many years and reared a family. They moved to Princeton, Me., where the husband died. After residing in Maine some years, Mrs. McLeod moved to this county, where she spent the last five years of her life with her children.

Her death was a sad and sudden blow. She had apparently recovered from a long illness, endured with Christian fortitude, when a relapse occurred and in short tine her soul had taken its flight.

The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in this city on Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. D. V. Teed, and attended by the relatives and friends of the deceased.
