DIED - In the town of Belle Plaine, on Monday, July 10th, of typhoid fever, SOPHIA, wife of JOHN DARROWS a volunteer in the United States Army.

DEATH - Mr. Wm. Johnson informs us that the wife of JOS. WAU-PAH-NASH-COME, a prominent Menominee Indian, died last Sunday of consumption. Her death is most regretted by her Indian acquaintances, as she was loved and revered by all who knew her.

DEATH OF AN INDIAN SOLDIER. - We are sorry to learn that NA-NAH-KE-SEN, formerly a member of Co, "K", 37th Reg. Wis. Vol., died at Keshena, on Saturday last, of chronic diarrhea contracted while in service.
