Baldwin Wade   NEWCOMB    Sept. 15, 1934-  Dec. 23, 2002 Devoted Father and Brother
 

BIO: "Wade" Newcomb was buried, alone, near the old cabins of his great grand- father, Jesse Newcomb.  It is located
off Route# 47 in Drakes Branch, in Charlotte Co., VA.  Wade's grave lies in a grove of trees just in site of the
"double" cabins, Wade had restored. The cabins belonged to Jesse Newcomb & his wife, Elizabeth Skelton-Newcomb.

Wade's parents were Robert Zenas Newcomb & Eva Marie Newcomb. Robert was born on June 28, 1898 &
died in April 1967.  Eva was born on June 11, 1902.  Robert & Eva were married on April 4, 1920.  Wade was
only one, of their nine children. 

Wade Newcomb also has a "military" gravemarker at the foot of his grave, which reads:
Baldwin Wade Newcomb, PVT US
Army, Korea, Sept. 15, 1934,  Dec.23, 2002.

Wade is buried, by HIS request, on the old homestead.  May he REST in PEACE.................................(bsc)
