Seastrunk Cemetery, Smith County, Texas -- NE-23 Seatrunk Cemetery is located one mile south of Interstate 20 on Farm to Market Road 757 near Starrville Texas. It is on private property owned by a Doctor. It is nestled in a small stand of pine trees at the edge of a small lake. It is enclosed by a chain link fence with an archway and gate. The archway has the name Seastrunk 1935 on it. The archway was erected by Penelope (Nellie) Speer Seastrunk. Her husband was John Obediah Seastrunk DDS. NOTE: The cemetery has not been used in many years and is grown up with briars and weeds. Penelope Seastrunk left her estate to International Organization of Odd Fellows and the Navarro County Orphans Home in Corsicana with the stipulation that they would take care of the cemetery. They took care of the money, but not the cemetery.
