My ancestor, Richard HEATH, arrived in Texas as member of the Dewitt Colony on the 24th of Oct.l828, received a land grant and settled along the Lavaca River south of Hallettsville. He married Margrate BILLINGS, they had 3 boys and 3 girls. The boys were named Fred Perry Heath b.1836, Mason Foley Heath b.1842 and William Henry Heath b.1844. My lineage is through Mason. Looking for links with Fred and William. Edward A.Heath

Seeking info about Andrew Jackson WHEELER,b. 1842 Copiah Co, MS. He came into DeWitt Co 1873. He married Susan Elvira GILBERT 1878, Clinton, Dewitt Co. Susan Elvira Wheeler was born Feb 25, 1861, Cuero, TX; d. May 25, 1912. She is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lavaca Co and her tombstone reads Wheeler Mrs. S.E.. I am having a lot of trouble finding Andrew Jackson Wheeler's burial site. These are my ggrandparents. I have much to share, and would appreciate any more info about these people. According to the 1920 census, Tx, Lavaca Co-he was living in Yoakum, worked as a switchman for the SAAP R.R., married to Maude L., who was 28 yrs old.
