Old Burchfield Cemetery

Springtown
Polk Co., TN

From Benton, TN go north on Hwy 411 & follow 411 Hwy North of Benton about 4-5 miles. Turn onto Hwy 30 & toward
Reliance, continue until reaching Reliance, then turn left at the intersection of Hwy 30 & Tellico Reliance Rd. Go across
the Hiawassee River following Reliance Tellico Rd for about 4-5 miles to Springtown Fire Station, turn right onto Towee Pike,
turn onto the first road to the right, Old Burchfield Cemetery Road. Follow this narrow road 2/10 of a mile. There is a trail
leading up into the woods, on the right side of the road & it will lead you to the cemetery. The Burchfield Cemetery is
very old with many unmarked graves & rocks used as tombstones.
