TO ANY PERSON LICENSED TO CELEBRATE MARRIAGE:

You are hereby authorized to join together in the Holy State of
Matrimony, according to the rules and ceremonies of your Church or
religious denomination, and the laws of the State of West Virginia,
Isaac N. GANOE and Louisa Jane ST. CLAIR.

GIVEN under my hand, as Clerk of the County Court of Said County,
this 27th day of March 1879.

Marriage License is issued.

Louisa Jane ST. CLAIR was the daughter of William & Mary ST. CLAIR 
as listed in the 1860 Monroe County, Virginia Census. 

Isaac Newton GANOE was a Veteran of the Civil War and fought in the
30th Battalion Virginia Sharpshooters, listed in the book of the
same name by Michael West, page 269, Pvt. Vawter's Battery/Co. C.
Enl. 3/26/62 at Union, Monroe Co. WV.  Had been a pvt. in Cos. A
and B, 166th Militia.  Present until AWOL on 10/31/62 and 12/31/62
rolls.  Sick at home at Red Sulphur Springs, Monroe Co. from
2/28/63 through 3/31/64 rolls.  NFR.  Listed on 1860 Monroe census
as 24, day laborer, married to Nancy.
