MISS HAGER AND MR KUHN WED IN SIMPLE RITES
The marriage of Miss Flora Belle Hager, daughter of Mrs. Charles Emory 
Chambers, 536 Rogers Street, city, to Mr. William Robert Kuhn, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Clair R. Kuhn formerly of Northfork, now of Worth W. Va. was solemnized 
at 8 o'clock, Saturday evening, December 23, at the Green Memorial Church in 
Roanoke, Va.  Dr. Nolan R. Harmon officiated in the impressive ring ceremony, 
attended by intimate friends of the bide and bridegroom.
The charming bride wore a costume of teal blue.  With dainty corsage of 
Talisman roses and lillies-of-the-valley.  She had as her only attendant, the 
former Miss Louise Spear, recent bride of Mr. W. Raymond Shelton of Northfork, 
who served as best man for the bridegroom.
Other members of the wedding party were: Misses Maiba Terrill, Margaret 
Richardson and Charlotte Stafford, all of Roanoke; Miss Evelyne Edmunds, 
Northfork; Miss Phyllis Parnell, Worth; Messrs. Rondle E. Laughridge, T. V. 
Kirkman, Jr and Peter Mergue, all of Roanoke; Ballard J. Wright, Elkhorn, W. 
D. Frye, Crumpler, W. Va. and Burness Frith, Martinsville, Va.
Mrs. Kuhn was graduated from Parkersburg, W. Va. High School in the class of 
1935.  She later attended Little French Beauty Academy, this city, and is now 
employed at Shelton's Beauty Shoppe in Northfork.  Mr. Kuhn is a graduate of 
Northfork High School, class of 1932 and of National Business College, 
Roanoke, class of 1937.  At present he is employed by the United Pocahontas 
Coal Company in their offices at Crumpler.
The young couple plan to make their home in Crumpler sometime in the future.
