   Ronald George Graves Sr.
   Ronald George Graves Sr., 62, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18,
   1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood
   Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia, with Billy Hunter and Bryan Hunter, both of
   Victory Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park
   Cemetery in Hughson, Calif.
   
   Mr. Graves was born in Little Rock, Ark., and moved to Amarillo 10
   years ago from Oakdale, Calif., where he was a longtime resident. He
   was employed by Pantex for two years and Payless Cashways for five
   years. He was a veteran of the Army.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Marrell of Amarillo; three sons,
   Ronald George Graves Jr., of Modesto, Calif., and Douglas Ray Graves
   and Terrance Lee Graves, both of Oakdale; his mother, Opal Gilmore
   Graves of Oakdale; five brothers, Vickie Graves, Leon Graves and
   Richard Graves, all of Oakdale, Donald Graves of Modesto and Howard
   Graves of Little Rock; a special friend, Barbara Jackson of Amarillo;
   and eight grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.
   Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
   
   Jewell May Godsey
   Jewell May Godsey, 92, of Bushland, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral
   Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle The Rev. Raymond Bowlin,
   pastor of first Baptist Church in Bushland, will officiate. Burial
   will be in Palo Duro Cemetery in Wildorado.
   
   Mrs. Godsey was born in Shawnee, Okla., and had lived in Bushland
   since 1930. She was a songwriter, poet, retired postmistress of
   Bushland and worked for the Bushland Oil and Gas Co. She was a member
   of Bushland Baptist Church.
   
   She married Verner C. Godsey in 1925 at Shawnee, Okla. She was
   preceded in death by her husband in 1982 and by a son, Jim Godsey.
   
   Survivors include a son, Bill Godsey of Abilene; four grandchildren;
   and two great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will receive friends prior to service time at the funeral
   home. They suggest in lieu of flowers memorials be to Palo Duro
   Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 86, Wildorado, TX 79098; or the
   American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell, Amarillo, TX 79106.
   
   A.E. Thompson Jr.
   A.E. "Squee" Thompson Jr., 79, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19,
   1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral
   Directors, Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd. The Rev. Raymond
   Bowlin, pastor of Bushland Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will
   be in Llano Cemetery.
   
   Mr. Thompson was born in Amarillo where he was a lifelong resident. A
   1939 graduate of Amarillo High School, he was a World War II veteran
   of the Army. He landed at Normandy and fought in the Battle of the
   Bulge as well as the battle at Rhineland. He received three Purple
   Hearts and three Bronze Stars.
   
   For more than 20 years, Mr. Thompson owned and operated B&T Auto
   Supply in Canyon. In 1995, he retired from Motor Parts in Amarillo. He
   was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Palo Duro Creek Golf
   Club.
   
   He married Maudie Shea in 1940 at Amarillo. She died in 1995.
   
   Survivors include two daughters, Judy Everitt of Amarillo and Mary
   Hicks of Atascadero, Calif.; two sisters, Margarett Ferguson of
   Amarillo and Mary Chambers of Skellytown; four grandchildren; and
   seven great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at 4432 S. Fannin. They suggest memorials be to
   Crown of Texas Hospice.
   
   John F. Harlan
   John F. Harlan, 86, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral
   Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Dick Marcear,
   pastor of Central Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in
   Llano Cemetery.
   
   Mr. Harlan was born in Tulia and lived most of his life in Amarillo.
   He owned and operated Harlan's Paint and Body until his retirement in
   1975 and was a member of the Central Church of Christ.
   
   He married Letrous Scott in 1937. She died in 1995.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Kim Gorham of Bellingham, Wash.; and a
   sister, Marjorie Boston of Amarillo.
   
   Clarence E. Bashford
   Clarence E. Bashford, 84, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at noon Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel
   of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Mike Suiter, minister,
   officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
   
   Mr. Bashford was born in Beaver County, Okla., and moved to Amarillo
   in 1945 from Turkey. He retired as a machinist from the Texas Highway
   Department in 1975. He was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge and of San
   Jacinto Church of Christ.
   
   He married Emma Fain in 1938. She died in 1991.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Mary Baker of Amarillo; a sister,
   Lucille Taylor of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and two
   great-grandchildren.
   
   Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today at the funeral
   home.
   
   Raymond Legacy
   Raymond Legacy, 73, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Paramount Baptist Church with Gil
   Lain officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial
   Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
   
   Mr. Legacy was born in Fredericksburg, Va., and served in the Navy
   during World War II. He served with the Air Force during the Korean
   War and retired from the Air Force in 1965. He later worked for
   Pantex, was a member of the V.F.W. and of the Paramount Baptist
   Church.
   
   He married June Batton in 1948.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a son, Don Legacy of Austin; two
   daughters, Lynne Mullin of Boise, Idaho, and Teresa Haines of Denver;
   a brother, Donald Legacy of Wellsville, N.Y.; two sisters, Jean Bowie
   and Betty Payne, both of Virginia; and four grandchildren.
   
   Ruby M. Gann
   Ruby M. Gann, 76, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Llano Mausoleum Chapel with
   Jimmy Beggs, pastor of Caprock Christian Fellowship, officiating.
   Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors,
   1505 Martin Rd.
   
   Mrs. Gann was born in Ennis and moved to Amarillo in 1973. During
   World War II she was appointed as one of the first female instructors
   in engine repair at Robbins Air Force Base in Macon, Ga. She taught
   ballroom dancing for Arthur Murray's School of Dance and worked in
   several restaurants in Amarillo, retiring in 1990. She was vice
   president of The Sunshine Club, a support group for the blind, a
   spokeswoman for United Way, a member of Caprock Christian Fellowship
   and attended Jan Werner's Adult Day Care Center where she was a
   council member.
   
   Her husband, Wilford N. Gann, preceded her in death.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Judy Ann Noland of Amarillo; a
   stepdaughter, Lisa Brown of Amarillo; three grandsons, Jimmy, Randy
   and Billy Noland , all of Amarillo; and 10 great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at 726 N. Aldredge.
   
   Dianna Sue Jackson
   Dianna Sue Jackson, 54, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors
   Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with Jerry Klein, co-minister of
   Comanche Trail Church of Christ, officiating, and Loran Harper, senior
   minister, assisting. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Jackson was born in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High
   School in 1963. She moved to Oklahoma in 1972 and back to Amarillo in
   1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Comanche Trail Church of
   Christ.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Radawna Jackson of Moore, Okla.; a son,
   Ray Jackson of Moore; her parents, Geneva and Thurman B. Hall of
   Amarillo; two sisters, Virginia Utter and Barbara Castleberry, both of
   Amarillo; and four grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at 2125 Heather, and suggests memorials be to High

   Leslie M. Denmead
   Leslie M. Denmead, 82, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian
   Church with the Revs. Roy S. Wheeler, pastor, and Bob Murphy,
   associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be private and arranged by
   Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
   
   Mrs. Denmead was born in Tolbert and moved to Amarillo in 1950. She
   was a homemaker and a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and
   of the Lamplighters Class.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Barron of Amarillo; a son, Don
   Denmead of Tokyo; two sisters, Zo Moore of Big Springs and Faye Moore
   of Kingsland; two brothers, Howard Moore of Lubbock and Joe Moore of
   Coppell; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

   Skip West
   Skip West, 76, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery
   with the Rev. David Scott, Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements
   are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue
   and Pierce St.
   
   Mrs. West was born in Vandalia, Ohio, and moved to Amarillo 32 years
   ago. She was a manager for Belmar Bakery for 30 years and a member of
   First Baptist Church.
   
   Her husband, Dick West, died in 1973.
   
   Survivors include a daughter, Skip Crone of Amarillo; a son, Eric West
   of Pampa; her mother, Birdie Markey of Amarillo; and two sisters,
   Betty Bricker of Clearwater, Fla., and Barrie Wallach of Taos, N.M.;
   nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   
   The body will not be available for viewing.
   
   The family will be at 3629 Doris and suggests memorials be to Baptist
   St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
   
   Tom Alexander
   Tom Alexander, 38, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. in Mount Zion North Cemetery with David
   Emery officiating. Burial will be by Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
   
   Mr. Emery was born in Sherman and was a truck driver.
   
   He married Joy Milligan in 1988.
   
   Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mathis Alexander and J. Lee
   Alexander, both of Amarillo; two daughters, Gracie Alexander of
   Amarillo and Cora Huffman Alexander of Whitesboro; two brothers, Bobby
   Jo Alexander of Valley, Ala., and Charlie Alexander of Whitesboro;
   parents, Charles and Virginia Alexander of Whitesboro; stepparents
   Robert and Pat Henry of Dallas; and grandmothers, Cora Alexander,
   Princess Akin and Sally Bennett, all of Whitesboro.
   
   Mark D. Moreland
   Mark D. Moreland, 46, of Richardson and formerly of Amarillo, died
   Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with
   the Rev. Dale Travis, pastor of Family Life Fellowship, officiating.
   Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
   
   Mr. Moreland was born in Amarillo and was a graduate of Tascosa High
   School and of the University of Texas. He worked as an accountant for
   Texas Utilities until 1997. He was a veteran of the Army and a member
   of both the National Rifle Association and the Texas State Rifle
   Association.
   
   Survivors include four sisters, Diann Wilcox, Janet Travis and Linda
   Smith, all of Amarillo, and Becky Schneider of El Paso; parents Louise
   Coltharp and Douglas B. Moreland, both of Amarillo; and grandmother,
   B.B. Carter of Amarillo.
   
   Rose R. Newberry
   Rose R. Newberry, 83, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 9:30 a.m. in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of
   Memories, 6969 I-40 East, with the Rev. Dale Bigham officiating.
   Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Newberry was born in Independence, Wis., and moved to Amarillo
   from Denver. She worked in food service at Furr's Restaurant and was a
   member of the Arden Road Baptist Church.
   
   She married Harmon L. Newberry in 1945. He died in 1994.
   
   Survivors include four sons, Dennis Newberry of Tyler, Larry Newberry
   of Topeka, Kan., and Ron Newberry and Johnny Newberry, both of
   Amarillo; a sister, Julia Lyga of Whitehall, Wis.; six grandchildren;
   and a great-grandchild.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Goodwill Industries.
   
   Michael Wayne Keenan
   Michael "Mike" Wayne Keenan, 41, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18,
   1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kingswood United Methodist
   Church with the Rev. Terry Tamplen, pastor, officiating. Burial will
   be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell
   St.
   
   Mr. Keenan was born in Amarillo and graduated from Caprock High
   School. He was a purchasing supervisor at IBP, and a Methodist.
   
   He married Cindy Alexander in 1981.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Cole Keenan of Amarillo;
   two daughters, Kelly Nichole and Kayla Renea, both of Amarillo; three
   brothers, Dennis Keenan of Austin, Roger Keenan of Weatherford and
   Roland Keenan of Amarillo; five sisters, Pat Wertman of Romulus, N.Y.,
   Sandie Neal of Schertz, Cindi Morrison of Apex, N.C., Angela Muncy of
   Loveland, Colo., and Karen Leal of Galveston; and mother, Erma June of
   Amarillo.
   
   Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. until 8
   p.m. Monday, and from 8 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and

   Rev. Elgin R. Anderson
   Rev. Elgin R. Anderson, 94, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 18,
   1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in New Hope Baptist Church with the
   Rev. David Hill, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery
   by WarfordWalker Mortuary Inc., 509 N. Hughes St.
   
   Rev. Anderson was born in Grimes County and came to Amarillo more than
   50 years ago. He was a Baptist minister who was a pastor in Crosbyton,
   served as interim pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church and retired from
   Anderson Chapel Baptist Church. He was also a caretaker for the
   Whittenburg family for 45 years.
   
   Survivors include his wife, Jessie; nine stepsons, Allen Graves,
   Robert Graves, Cecil Graves, Anthony Graves, Jerry Graves, Gene
   Graves, Donald Graves, Arthur Graves and Charles Graves, all of
   Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Elsa Bowman of Amarillo; a brother, Virgil
   Anderson of Memphis; three sisters, Bessie Robinson, Edna Fowler and
   Lillian Jiles, all of Dallas; 46 grandchildren; and 16
   great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at 4304 E. 16th Street.
   
   Judith Ann Hanner Upchurch
   Judith Ann Hanner Upchurch, 66, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 19,
   1999.
   
   Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery
   with James Garrett, senior pastor of Polk Street United Methodist
   Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by
   Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.
   
   Mrs. Upchurch was born in Oklahoma and had lived in Amarillo for the
   past 32 years. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a
   bachelor of arts degree, and was past president of DAR.
   
   She married Tom Upchurch in 1967.
   
   Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Karen Isern and Laurie
   Ricks, both of Amarillo, and Diane Upchurch of Dallas; and three
   grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at the Upchurch House on Tascosa Road.

   Bertha Dyer Moore
   PAMPA - Bertha "Aunt B" Dyer Moore, 87, died Wednesday, March 17,
   1999.
   
   Cremation was handled by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
   Memorial services will be at a later date.
   
   Mrs. Moore was born in Valley Mills, Texas, and moved to Gallup, N.M.,
   in the early 1930s from Pampa. She returned to Pampa in 1994.
   
   While living in Gallup, she managed the gift shop at the El Rancho
   Hotel. She later owned and operated the Sweet Shop. She also worked
   for Sellards Jewelry Store and R&R Dress Shop for several years. She
   had managed the Sweetbriar Shop for 18 years before retiring in 1975.
   She was a charter member of the BPOE.
   
   She married Gordon Moore in 1933 at Sayre, Okla.
   
   Survivors include her husband, three nieces; two nephews; a
   great-niece; three great-nephews.
   
   The family requests memorials be to Central Baptist Church Building
   Fund of Pampa, or the Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St.,
   Amarillo, TX 79101.
   
   Jim McKay
   FOLLETT - Jim McKay, 67, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999.
   
   Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gililland-Watson Funeral Home Rose
   Chapel with Randy Byrd, pastor of Barn Church, officiating. Burial was
   in West Park Cemetery.
   
   Mr. McKay was born in Turkey, Texas, and moved to Deaf Smith County in
   1974 from Dimmitt. He moved to Follett in 1993 from Hereford. He was a
   truck driver.
   
   He married Veda Golden in 1951 at Clovis, N.M.
   
   Survivors include two sons, Ronnie McKay of Hereford and David McKay
   of Perryton; a daughter, Donna Cornett of Follett; three sisters,
   Janice Stewart of Turkey, Joyce Reed of Amarillo and Judy Mulnick of
   Clarendon; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
   
   The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
   
   James Alvarez Jr.
   TULIA - James Alvarez Jr., infant son of Eliaza Benavidez and James
   Alvarez, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Wallace Funeral Home with John
   Salazar-Jimenez, pastor of Church of the Holy Spirit, officiating.
   Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
   
   James was born in Amarillo.
   
   Survivors include his parents and his grandparents, Guadalupe and
   Erminia Benavidez of Tulia and Ted Gonzales and Launita Alvarez of
   Houston.
   
   John Dee Goodwin
   DUMAS - John Dee Goodwin, 95, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Dumas Cemetery with the
   Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired Assembly of God pastor, officiating.
   Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
   
   Mr. Goodwin was born in Russellville, Ky., where he was a longtime
   resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a carpenter. From
   1978 until 1991, he lived in Dumas and then moved to Amarillo.
   
   He married Louetta Johnson in 1961 at Russellville. She died in 1991.
   
   Survivors include three nephews, Bobby Goodwin of Frankfort, Ky.,
   Charles S. Elliott and Richard E. Elliott, both of Dumas; and a niece,
   Martha Goodwin of Frankfort.
   
   The family will be at 514 Durrett in Dumas.
   
   Harvey Hugh Graham
   LEFORS - Harvey Hugh Graham, 78, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Lefors
   with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in
   Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral
   Directors of Pampa.
   
   Mr. Graham was born in Rush, Ark., and had been a resident of Lefors
   and Gordonville for most of his life, returning to Lefors in 1993. A
   retired pipe fitter and welder, he was a Navy veteran of World War II.
   He attended First Baptist Church.
   
   He married Emma Timmons in 1941 at Oklahoma City.
   
   Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Donna Roberson of Lefors
   and Beverly Chace of Pampa; a sister, Dorothy Hefley of Mountain
   Homes, Ark.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.
   Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
   
   Walter Deger
   WELLINGTON - Walter Deger, 89, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Church of Christ with Kevin
   Rhodes, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens
   Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
   
   Mr. Deger was born in Bray, Okla., and attended school in the Aberdeen
   community. Until his retirement in 1976, he was a farmer and rancher
   in the Lutie area. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
   
   He married Trula Marshall in 1927 at Hollis, Okla. She died in 1990.
   
   Survivors include a son, Denzil Deger of Clarendon; a brother, Hardy
   Deger of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five
   great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and three
   step-great-great-grandchildren.
   
   Larry Fuston Stephens
   FRITCH - Larry Fuston Stephens, 59, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral
   Directors Memorial Chapel with Danny Courtney officiating. Burial will
   be in the Garden of Love in Westlawn Memorial Park.
   
   Mr. Stephens was born in Moore County and was a lifelong resident of
   Borger and Fritch. An Army veteran, he also was a heavy equipment
   operator. He was a member of the International Union of Operating
   Engineers and was a Baptist.
   
   Survivors include a son, Larry Stephens Jr. of Stinnett; and a sister,
   Fletta Mae Rhoton of Borger.
   
   Genevieve E. Jorgenson
   BORGER - Genevieve E. Jorgenson, 87, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.

   Mrs. Jorgenson was born in Mentor, Minn., and moved to Borger in 1988.
   She was active in the Methodist Church where she was a member of
   United Methodist Women and Circle, Amity Sunday School Class and sang
   in the choir. She was a patron of the Music Club and a member of
   Borger Federated Music Club and the Knitwits Club.
   
   She married Earl William Jorgenson in 1932 at Erskin, Minn. He died in
   1970.
   
   Survivors include a son, Dwayne Jorgenson of Maplewood, Minn.; a
   daughter, Erlene Hagburg of Borger; a sister, Ruth Swenby of Portland,
   Ore.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Manor and Hospice of
   Spearman or First United Methodist Church of Borger.
   
   Louie Harvey
   BORGER - Louie Harvey, 80, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Andrew's United Methodist
   Church with the Rev. David Purl, pastor, officiating. Burial will be
   in Memory Gardens in Pampa by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
   
   Mr. Harvey was born in Rusk and moved to Borger in 1925 from
   Pasamonte, N.M. He served with the Army in World War II and retired
   from Phillips Petroleum as a supervisor in 1980. He was a member of
   Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355 and of St. Andrew's United
   Methodist Church.
   
   He married Lorraine Poulain in 1947.
   
   He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Joseph, in 1954.
   
   Survivors include his wife; a son, John Harvey of Borger; a daughter,
   Teresa Ormsby of Borger; two brothers Pat Harvey of Borger and Bill
   Harvey of Lubbock; a sister, Joyce Nichols of Ruidoso, N.M.; six
   grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, or
   to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.
   
   Jose Sifuentez
   DIMMITT - Jose Sifuentez, 50, died Saturday, March 20, 1999.
   
   Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception
   Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate
   Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Guillermo Morales
   officiating. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens by
   Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home.
   
   Mr. Sifuentez was born in Waco. He attended schools in Nazareth and
   moved to Dimmitt in 1958 where he worked for Agri-Farms for six years.
   He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
   
   Survivors include his wife, Israela; a stepdaughter, Tina L. Jentry of
   Dimmitt; three stepsons, Cornelino Jentry, Mitchell Jentry and Matthew
   Jentry, all of Dimmitt; three brothers, Juan Sifuentez of Brownfield,
   George Sifuentez Jr. of Earth and Pedro Sifuentez of Dimmitt; five
   sisters, Dionicia Torres of Lubbock, Selia Sifuentez, Rosa Lucio and
   Cresencia Sifuentez, all of Dimmitt, and Mary Gonzales of Hart.
   
   Kimberly Dawn Newland
   WHEELER - Kimberly Dawn Newland, 16, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Plains High School Auditorium
   with the Rev. Bill Wright, pastor of First Baptist Church of Plains,
   officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 6 p.m. Monday in
   Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home, Wheeler.
   
   Miss Newland was born in Pampa and was a junior at Plains High School
   where she played on the basketball team and was TGCA All State Class
   2A and All District in 1998. She went to the AAU national tournament
   in basketball with the Texas Tar Heels team for the past two years.
   She played volleyball, was an officer in the Future Homemakers of
   America, was on the Student Council for two years in Dimmitt, and was
   a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
   
   Her father, Michael Lee Newland, died in 1993.
   
   Survivors include her mother, Jan Newland of Plains; a brother, Jarod
   Newland of Plains; grandparents David and Louise Newland of Downing,
   Mo., and Dale and Lorene Irby of Clovis, N.M.
   
   Viewing will be from 5 p.m. today until 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral
   home.

   Naomi Estelle Bonds Allen
   MOBEETIE - Naomi Estelle Bonds Allen, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the
   Revs. Fred and Dee Palmer, pastors of Carpenter Church in Pampa, and
   Jim Sinyard of Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery
   by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
   
   Mrs. Allen was born in Oklahoma Territory and had lived in Mobeetie
   for most of her life. She was an L.V.N. from 1946 until 1960 in
   Wheeler, Pampa and El Paso. She was a member of the First Baptist
   Church.
   
   She married Herbert H. Bond in 1920. He died in 1960. She married
   Clarence Allen in 1970. He died in 1984.
   
   Survivors include two daughters, Mary L. Moore and Joyce Saunders,
   both of Pampa; a son, Charlie H. Bonds of Crossville, Tenn.; two
   brothers, Jess Mixon of Mobeetie and Mickey Mixon of Happy; a sister,
   Fannie Joe Gales of Elk City, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 34
   great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
   
   Glenna Mae Maddox Hurst
   GARLAND - Glenna Mae Maddox Hurst, 76, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Tom
   Posey officiating. Burial will be by Memphis Funeral Home.
   
   Mrs. Hurst had lived in Garland for the past 20 years and had been an
   L.V.N. at Hall County Hospital. She was a member of Travis Baptist
   Church in Memphis.
   
   Survivors include two daughters, Linda Minatrea of Garland and Karen
   Hookstra of Weatherford, Okla.; two sons, Wayne Lesley of Waxahachie
   and Mike Lesley of Garland; a brother, Dewey Melton of Plainview; five
   grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
   
   Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Hall County Hospital, or to
   Fairview Cemetery Association.
   
   Linnie Ola Bumpus
   ESTELLINE - Linnie Ola Bumpus, 95, died Saturday, March 20, 1999.
   
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memphis Funeral Home Chapel with
   the Rev. Jimmy Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Fairview
   Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Bumpus had lived in Estelline since 1927 where she was a nursery
   worker and a pianist at the Baptist Church. She moved to Memphis a few
   years ago.
   
   She married Arch Bumpus in 1926. He died in 1980.
   
   Survivors include a son, Burl Bumpus of Amarillo; two grandchildren;
   and seven great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to the Fairview Cemetery Association.

   Donnie Hernandez
   CLOVIS, N.M. - Donnie Hernandez, 21, died Friday, March 19, 1999.
   
   Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic
   Community Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart
   Catholic Community Church with the Rev. Carlos Chavez officiating.
   Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Muffley Funeral Home.
   
   Mr. Hernandez was born in Muleshoe and moved to Texico in 1980 where
   he attended school. While in high school, he was a stocker at Discount
   Enterprises and later worked for J. Bowers Equipment Co. in Farwell.
   He also worked construction and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
   Community Church.
   
   Survivors include his parents, Merced and Amelia Hernandez of Clovis;
   three brothers, Richard Hernandez and Mark Hernandez, both of Clovis
   and Ricky Hernandez of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Christina
   Hernandez Reyna of Clovis; and his grandmother, Julia Castillo of
   Clovis.
   
   Yvonne Erica Harris
   CLOVIS, N.M. - Yvonne Erica Harris, 15, died Thursday, March 18, 1999.
   
   Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe
   Catholic Community Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Our
   Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Community Church with the Rev. Daniel M.
   Balizan officiating. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by
   Muffley Funeral Home.
   
   Miss Harris was in the ninth grade at Marshall Junior High School and
   was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Community Church.
   
   Survivors include her parents, Larry and Florinda Harris of Clovis;
   three brothers, Matthew Sena, Daniel Harris and Larry Harris Jr., all
   of Clovis; grandmothers, Maria Sena and Juanita Harris, both of

   Mrs. Nelson was born in Tolar.

   Worth; a daughter, Linda Nelson Elam of Kennedale; three brothers,
