TEXANS' QUARREL ENDS IN SUICIDE, MURDER
SAN ANTONIO, Tex. (U.P.)-- Maurice Maxson,
37, former inmate of the state hospital
here, and Miss Aline Robinson, his former
wife, were fatally wounded last Sunday
when gunfire climaxed a brief conversation
between them. Investigations said that
Maxson shot his former wife, who had
resumed her maiden name, and then killed
himself.
The shooting occurred at Miss Robinson's
home. Police were told that Maxson walked
into the house, talked with his former
wife a few minutes then shot her in the
neck and fired a bullet into his own head.

Murder Suicide Verdict is Returned by
Justice At San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, Jan 12.--(AP)--Maurice Maxson
and his former wife, Alyne Robinson, were
found shot fatally in her apartment Sunday.
Justice of the Peace Bat Corrigan
announced a verdict of murder and suicide,
expressing the belief the man had shot the
woman, then turned the pistol on himself.
Investigation by Corrigan disposed Maxson
was admitted to the San Antonio state hospital,
July ??, 1834, after having been found insane
by a jury, Maxson was released Sept. 24, 1934,
after a writ of habeas corpus had been sued
out ?? 57th district court.
The release was made over the protest
of Dr. W. J. Johnson, superintendent of the
hospital, occording the evidence at the
hearing.
Maxson's mother, Mrs. J. R. Ellwell,
Corrigan said, lives at 906 Riverside Drive,
Austin.
