  MRS. KATHERINE MCCOY
  
    Mrs. Katherine D. McCoy, 78, Ashville RD, died Feb. 13, at Altoona
  Mercy Hospital.
    Born July 13, 1888, in Altoona, she was a daughter of Charles A.
  and Margaret Jane (Ferry) Kelly.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, Raymond G., March 5, 1950.
    Surviving are a son, Father Robert J. McCoy, pastor of Holy Rosary
  Roman Catholic Church, Juniata, Altoona; and two sisters, Mrs.
  Elizabeth (Scannell) Black, Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Rigina Riley,
  Buffalo, N.Y.
    She was retired after 21 years of service with Department of
  Agriculture as manager of Cambria County Agricultural Stabilization
  and Conservation Committee, Ebensburg.
    She was a member of the auxiliary to Post 4315, Veterans of Foreign
  Wars, Ashville; American Association of Retired Persons, Ojai, Calif.;
  and St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, where solemn high mass will
  be sung at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, by her son, Father Robert J.
  McCoy, celebrant; Father James S. Kirkpatrick, deacon, and Father
  Richard E. Conti, sub-deacon.  Interment will be made in Calvary
  Cemetery, Altoona.
    Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m., on
  Thursday and Friday at Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.
