  BARKER
  
    Charles W. Barker, 81, Somerset, formerly of Whitehall, died Jan. 7,
  2001.   Beloved son of the late Robert S. and  Emma L.  Beloved brother of
  the late Robert G. Loving.  Beloved husband of Hilda M.  Devoted father of
  Cheryl (Neil) Kirkpatrick,  Susan (Al) Cain, and Robert (Diane);
  grandfather of Charles, Courtney, Kimberly, Andrew, Amy and Samantha. He
  was a veteran of World War II, Merchant Marines, and a member of the
  Monongahela Masonic Lodge No. 269 and Syria Temple.  Friends will be
  received from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., 4201
  Brownsville Road, Brentwood, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday.  Masonic service on Monday evening. If desired, family suggests
  contributions to Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, 201 N.
  Bellefield Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15213.
