  Lester Leroy Bensing FINDLAY, OH Lester Leroy Bensing, 91, of 2101 Greendale, 
  Findlay, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at his residence. He was born on 
  April 5, 1916, in Fredericksburg, Pa., to Charles and Lottie (Stahl) Bensing. 
  On October 25, 1941, he married Agnes V. Taylor, and she preceded him in death 
  on June 29, 1967. He then married Marie Elliott Blue on March 30, 1968, and she 
  survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Susan Deter (James) of Shererville, 
  Ind.; and sons, Phillip Bensing (Samantha) of San Francisco, Calif., Timothy 
  Bensing (Darlene) of Troy, Mich., and Andrew Bensing (Carol) of Columbus, Ohio; 
  a step-son, John Blue of Carlsbad, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Patsy Bensing of 
  Madison Heights, Mich.; a stepsonin-law, Dale Powell; grandchildren, Dave 
  Deter, Mike Deter, Tony Deter, Casey Comardo, Aaron Bensing, Nathan Bensing, 
  Julie Coldren (Ron); seven greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Jean Diener of 
  Fredericksburg, Pa. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Bensing; a step-
  daughter, Beverly Powell; three brothers; and five sisters. Lester retired from 
  the U.S. Postal Service, Findlay, in 1981. He was also formerly employed at 
  Ashland Oil Co. and a member of Local No. 58 P.& S.F. Lester served his country 
  in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member of St. Andrew's United 
  Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer. Funeral services were held on 
  Saturday, April 5, at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, Findley.
