Silas Clark Hamilton, Died suddenly in his late home, 647 South Seventh 
Street, Indiana, Friday. He was the son of the late George T. and Elizabeth 
McLanahan Hamilton and was born April 22nd, 1878 in Indiana. Mr Hamilton 
was a retired tinsmith and had been associated with his father for a number 
of years before becoming associated with the A.T. Taylor and Son Co.,where 
he was employed until his retirement. Surviving are his widdow, Cora May 
Dodson*,three sons,William, and George of Indiana, and John of Clarion. and 
three daughters, Miss Emma. at home: Mrs. Joseph X.(Ruth) Bottenfield, 
Altoona and Mrs. Wendell (Gertrude) Cook of Indiana. Twelve grandchildren 
and one sister. Mrs. Allen (Elizabeth) Kirkpatrick Jr., of Washington, D.C.
Friends will be received in the Robinson Funeral Home this evening from 7:00 
to 9:00 o'clock and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services 
will be held in the funeral home Monday afternoon at 1:30  o'clock.  Reverend 
James K. Leitch will officiate. Interment in Oakland Cemetery. 

*Cora May Dodson was not a survivor she passed away Nov 8, 1929.
