MARTIN LUTHER KIRKPATRICK
Petersburg, Pa.

Restaurant, Garage, Billiard Parlor:  Born at Huntingdon, Pa., Nov. 9, 1886, 
and schooled at Petersburg, Pa.  A son of William Kirkpatrick, who died in 
1888.  His grandfather was killed in an explosion at a stone quarry while 
working at night.  The mother of Martin Kirkpatrick was Elizabeth Guisler, 
who died March 15, 1917.  Martin Kirkpatrick was an engineer at the Power 
Plant, Warrior Ridge, the Penn Central plant; was an auto mechanic at 
Petersburg, Pa.; Pittsburgh, Detroit and Huntingdon, Pa.; at present 
conducts a restaurant and confectionery business; also a billiard parlor and 
garage.  During World War was an auto mechanic at Petersburg.  A Republican. 
Belongs to the I.O.O.F., Petersburg, Pa.; has two brothers:  Harry, Altoona, 
Pa., married to Annie Brooks, a fireman with Penna. R.R.; Swayne, married to 
Carrie Lovell, Petersburg, Pa.; one brother died in infancy.  His sisters 
are:  Martha, married to Thomas Whitzel, Altoona, Pa., an engineer with the 
Penna R.R.; Margaret, Altoona, Pa.  Martin Luther Kirkpatrick was married to 
Eva Scott, daughter of John and Martha Scott, of Petersburg.  Baseball is 
his sport.  Mr. Kirkpatrick has been very successful since entering the 
business world, is capable and looks after his patrons'  wants.  A good 
business man, capable and obliging.
