[Note: The pew arrangement in 1794 differed from the current 
arrangement.  The aisles formed a cross with the pulpit in the center 
of the cross.  Pew # 1 was at the inside left lower corner of the arm 
of the cross, the numbers ran through #13 back the center aisle to the 
rear door, then came back up the center aisle ending with #26 at the 
right across from # 1.  #Ős 27-30 were vertical pews behind #26-22.  
They ran to the door on the right arm of the cross, then crossing in 
front of the right door, #31-39 ran back towards the center pulpit 
along the front church wall.  There was a break at the top of the cross 
(where the pulpit is now located), then #40-48 continued across the 
front of the church to the left door.  Crossing the aisle in front of 
the left door, #49-52 ran vertically back to # 1. They only extended
