DuBois Daily Express August 2, 1938
James G. King of DuBois, R.D. 2, a well known and highly respected resident of 
this vicinity for many years died at 9:45 o’clock Monday evening in the Maple 
Avenue Hospital following a illness. Death was due to a complication of 
diseases.

The deceased, who was 68 years of age, was born in Clearfield County, on 
October 14, 1869. He resided near DuBois for a great number of years, and news 
of his death will be learned with general regret. 

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Anna, at home, and three sons, James 
and Robert at home, and Arnold of Chicago, Ill. The following brothers and 
sisters also survive. Mrs. Robert Winger, Mrs. Eli Dixon, Mrs. Findley 
Kirkpatrick, Andrew and George, all of DuBois, and J. M. King of Sagamore, PA.

The funeral party will leave the home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock and 
services will be held at the Salem Church at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be 
made in the Salem Cemetery.
