  Edith Elsie Simpson died Oct. 30, 1938
  
  Edith Elsie Simpson, 64, of Clarion township, died at her home at 2:40
  oÕclock Sunday morning, Oct. 30, 1938.  She was the daughter of David and
  Mary Simpson, and was born in Clarion township on May 28, 1874.
  
  She was a member of the Asbury Methodist church.  She is survived by the
  following:  Four sisters, Mrs. Clara Cochran, Punxsutawney; Mrs. Emma
  Kirkpatrick, Strattonville; Mrs. Eva Jones, Wilkinsburg; Mrs. Elizabeth
  McGee, Mr. Lebanon, and three brothers, Harry, Akron, Ohio; Grant, of
  Chicago, Ill,. and Frank of Strattonville.
  
  Funeral services were held at the home of Frank Simpson at Strattonville
  Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 oÕclock, with Rev. John Banks officiating.  Burial
  followed in the Asbury cemetery.
