MICHAELANGELO - MATTUCCI

Saint Patrick's Catholic church, Gallitzin, was the scene of an impressive wedding ceremony 
Thursday, July 15, when Miss Ida E. Mattuci and Mark Anthony Michaelangelo, both of Gallitzin, 
were united in a double-ring ceremony.  The Rev. Father James J. Kirkpatrick, assistant pastor 
of the parish, officiated.  Miss Elda Michaelangelo, the groom's sister, Gallitzin, was maid of 
honor, while Luigi Mattucci, the bride's brother, was best man.  Immediately following the 
ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the bride's home, Gallitzin.  The couple returned 
this week from a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, N.Y., and will reside at the parental home of the 
bride, 920 Saint Joseph street.  Mrs. Michaelangelo had been employed at the Puritan Knitting 
Mills in Altoona, while her husband is engaged as a bricklayer in Gallitzin, and is currently 
employed by Francesco D. Maria, widely known Gallitzin contractor.
