MARIAN L. ECKLEY 

  Marian L. Eckley, 80, of 2 Logan Ridge Village, Tyrone, died Sunday, 
March 28, 2004 at 2:10 p.m. of injuries received in a two vehicle 
accident at 11 Street Extension, Tyrone.
  She was born July 28, 1923 in Fuoss Mills, a daughter of Howard C. 
and Effie Mae (Wertz) Foust. She was twice married first to George D. 
Kirkpatrick who died in 1968. She then was married to Clarence F. 
Eckley on August 30, 1971 in Winchester, Virginia.
  Surviving are her husband, two sons, Ronald E. Kirkpatrick and wife 
Sandy of RD 2, Tyrone, David H. Kirkpatrick and wife Wanda of 
Littlestown, two step-daughters, Nancy Cowher and husband Jim of 
Swansboro, North Carolina, Debra Coady and husband Russ of Tyrone, 11 
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, nine 
step-grandchildren, 12 step-great-grandchildren, a step-great-great 
grandchild and a sister, Luella Lias of Tipton. She was preceded in 
death by a daughter, Donna L. Miller and three sisters.
  Mrs. Eckley was a member of Tyrone Alliance Church where she was 
active with the Missionary Ladies. She was also a member of the 
Grazierville Gang. She was formerly employed at Procter Silex, Tyrone 
Hospital and the Tyrone School District.
  She loved her family and all her friends.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11 a.m. at 
Tyrone Alliance Church with Rev. Tim Miller and Rev. Doug Mottin 
officiating. Interment will follow at Charlottesville Cemetery, Antis 
Twp. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home today from 2-
4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Memorial gifts may be made to the Tyrone Alliance Church, 2103 Adams 
Ave., Tyrone, PA 16686.
