Taken from The Jewish Criterion, 14 Jun 1935, page 23, 

Meyer Caplan, of 722 Kirkpatrick Street, died last week at his home.

     He leaves his widow, Mrs. Annie Caplan; two sons, Harry and Sam 
Caplan; six daughters, Mrs. Hyman Kuntz, Mrs. Harry Rosenthal, Mrs. 
Meyer Myers, Mrs. Meyer Gerson, Mrs. George Livingston and Mrs. Martin 
Cummins; a brother, Louis Caplan, and 12 grandchildren.

     Interment was made in Beth Jacob Cemetery.
