   Graveside  services  for  James Everett Wheeler, age 83, of san Diego,
   California were held Thursday, February 25, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. at White
   Rose   Cemetery,  Reydon,  Roger  Mills  County,  Oklahoma  under  the
   direction   of   Fathree-Albert  Funeral  Home  of  Erick,  Carl  Hill
   officiating.  Mr. Wheeler died Friday, Feburary 19, 1988 in San Diego,
   California.
   James  Everett  Wheeler  was born July 23, 1904 in Rankin, Oklahoma to
   George  W. and Ursual Pyland Wheeler. He had lived in Reydon, Oklahoma
   and Fort Wayne, Indiana before moving to San Diego.
   He entered the armed forces in 1942 and served in Germany during World
   War  II.  He  was  retired  from the Naval Air Station in San Diego in
   1970.
   Mr. Wheeler is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one
   sister.
   Survivors include two brothers, Ralph Wheeler of Ceres, California and
   Murray  Wheeler  of Long Beach, California and one sister, Fern Howell
   of Erick, OK
