Farmerville, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Wheeler, age 66, of Marion, LA will be held 
at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 2009, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in 
Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dan McClure, and Rev. Don Reeves. 
Interment will follow at the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mildred Wheeler was born on February. 7, 1942 to Vernon Hosey Staggs and Eula 
Staggs of Natchez, MS. She passed away on December 30, 2008 from a lengthy 
illness. Sisters deceased are Betty McGraw and Gloria Caraway. Children 
deceased are Doyle A.White and Tracy L. Barney.

She is survived by her husband Donald Wheeler, Children Darrell White (Lisa, 
Heather, Alexis, and Heath), Derek White,(Jennifer and Laurel), Lisa Sims, 
(Dale, Leah, and Anna), other grandchildren, Allen White, Meaghan, Nathan, and 
Joseph Abuelkhair, Elizabeth Renee Reppond, Ronnie Sue Barney, step-children 
and step-grandchildren Donald Wheeler Jr., Darren Wheeler (Sandy, Tyler and 
Hayley), Willie Wheeler, Angie Forbes (Mallory and Cole), many more family and 
friends.

Mildred made many friends over the years working as a Liaison of rehab 
hospitals in North LA. She was also a homemaker and took much joy in raising 
three of her grandchildren. We would like to thank everyone at Hospice Care of 
North, LA., churches in the community, family and friends who brought food and 
gifts during this difficult time.

Pallbearers will be John (Buster) Maxie, Don Wheeler Jr., Darren (Dinky) 
Wheeler, Heath White, Joseph Elkhair and Allen White.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Wheeler, Nathan Elkhair, and Perry Stouffer.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
