Recorded Bullitt County Court 30 Jun 1853

The following deed sort of mystifies me because Rebecca isn't mentioned and
she is still around - seems to be the right children:

Bullitt County Deed Book K p. 318 - Whereas in the suit in Chancery pending
in the Bullitt Circuit Court in the name of John WHEELER's administrators
against John WHEELER's creditors the said court did by Decree of the 11th
April 184? (the last digit is blotted out) direct a commissioner to sell of
the Estate of John WHEELER dec'd Two Tracts of Land in Bullitt County one
containing 43 1/2 acres and 31 poles more or less conveyed to s'd John
WHEELER by HARRIS and wife by Deed dated 21 Jan 1839 recorded in Bullitt
County Court in Book I p. 191 and also a Tract of 150 acres conveyed to said
WHEELER by Robert BELL by deed dated 12 March 1829 recorded in said office in

Court House in Shepherdsville and David HALL purchased the 43 1/2 acres and
31 poles for $110 and said David HALL then also purchased 150 acres for fifty
ecnts - Sales made subject to the widows dower and said report of such having
been returned to Court and confirmed by Decree did enter of said Court of 3
July 1844 and W. C. SUMMERS was appointed Commissioner to county to said two
tracts of land to said HALL on the part of said WHEELER's heirs.

Whereof for and in consideration of the provisions of the sale and payment of
the purchase money, and in obedience to the order of the said Court for that
purpose This indenture made this 29th day of August 1844 between Eliza J.
WHEELER, John A. WHEELER, William WHEELER, James Y. WHEELER, Julia Ann
WHEELER and Harrison Y. WHEELER, Heirs of John WHEELER, deceased by Noah C.
SUMMERS Com'r for that purpose for the one part and David HALL of the other
part Witnesseth:

That the said Eliza A. WHEELER and heirs as aforesaid for and in
consideration of sales and decrees and orders aforesaid have sold and
conveyed to the said David HALL and his heirs forever the said two tracts of
Land sold and purchased by him aforesaid the Two tracts of Land sold, and
purchased by him as aforesaid tract of 43 acres 2 quarters and 31 poles ....
bounded by lands of John BUZAN...and a sugar tree on the side of Maus Lick
Road (its clearly Maus Lick - perhaps meaning Mays Lick? thence with said
road and bordering David PARRIS line. Said tract of 150 acres bounded by
Wyatt GENTRY's lower corner...north to two poplars on Floyds Fork ...

W. C. SUMMERS, commissioner signed for the following:
