                   MR. HENRY WHEELER FORSTMANS & CO. RETIREE
Mr. Henry J. Wheeler, 84, of 138 Wrightsville Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 
1996, at his residence. 
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gethsemane United Methodist Church 
with the Rev. Marshall Singletary officiating. Burial will be in Dublin 
Memorial Gardens, Dublin. 
Mr. Wheeler, a native of Johnson County, had lived in East Dublin the past 48 
years. He was a Forstmans & Co. employee for 30 years, and a member of 
Gethsemane United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Senior Adult 
Sunday School Class. He was a Star route mail carrier for 14 years and served 
on the East Dublin City Council in the 1950s. 
Survivors include a son, Ed Wheeler, Cumming; a daughter, Carolyn W. Cox, East 
Dublin; three brothers, Dell Wheeler, Decatur, Dudley Wheeler and Marcus 
Wheeler, both of Augusta; two sisters, Ruby Riner and Maudie Powell, both of 
Kite; and six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cox, Jimmy Cox, Tommy Shepard, Ben Wheeler and 
Johnnie Webb. 
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class 
and the administrative council of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church. 
Stanley Funeral Home, Dublin, is in charge of arrangements.

Henry was born 8 Oct 1911. Georgia death certificate #038646. His wife was 
Cora Mae Tison/Tyson Wheeler who is also buried at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
