Cecil Ray Wheeler

  Cecil Ray Wheeler died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 of natural causes at an 
area hospital at the age of 50. He was born in Lodi on October 14, 1954 at 
Mason Hospital. He attended local schools and served in the U.S. Army. 
  He enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with his family, and playing with 
his dog, Precious. 
   He was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Chris Wheeler, his 
parents, Kermett Wheeler Sr. and Nadean Rowe; his brother, Kermett Wheeler Jr.; 
and his sister, Patricia Hawthorne. 
  He is survived and sorely missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and 
Roland Qualls of Galt; his stepfather, Luther Rowe of Arkansas; three nieces, 
Michele Denys of Carlsbad, Sherley McCoy of Galt and Sarah Wheeler of Lodi; and 
one nephew, Steven Hawthorne of Stockton.
  "Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue 
grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now; He set me 
free."
  Park View Cemetery is in charge of the arrangements, and the funeral service 
will be private.
