A Pretty Wedding in the Associate Reformed Church at Statesville
Statesville, Dec. 9 - Mr. Sherwood Bonner, of Camden, Ala., and Miss Nannie
Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.D. Miller, were married this afternoon at
4:30 o'clock in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian church, Rev. J.H. Pressley
performing the ceremony, and Statesville thereby gives to Alabama one of her
fairest daughters and one universally admired by a large circle of friends for
her many amiable traits of character.
The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion and admission was
extended only to those who had been invited. Miss Mary Miller, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor and Mr. Ernest H. Miller, of Mooresville, was best
man. Messrs. Robt. A. and S.B. Miller, of Statesville, and Livy Hunter and Roy
Kirkpatrick, of Mecklenburg county, acted as ushers. Immediately after the
ceremony the bride and groom repaired to the home of the bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. T.D. Miller, where a reception was given them. Mr. and Mrs. Bonner
left on the 6:42 train for Camden, Ala., the groom's home.
