Randolph Family Bible

Lucretia Tucker Chappell was born in Sussex County on 17 Oct 1784; she married
George T. Randolph (born 13 May 1871 in Roanoke County).  Their child, Joseph
Tucker Randolph was born in Sussex County on 24 June 1818.  Joseph married
first in Lawrence County, Alabama in 1842, where their first child was born;
then they moved to Lowndes County, Mississippi; later Oktibbeha County.

June 24th, 1818

My mother, Lucretia Tucker Chappell was born in Sussex County
Virginia on 17th day of October 1784

My father, George T. Randolph was born in Roanoake County
Virginia May the 13th 1781

Mother - Susan Marian Reed was born in Lauderdale Coty Alabama
October the 14th, 1827

Lucie Jane Pendleton was born in Amherst County Virginia on the
20th February A.D. 1831


                           Marriages

	Joseph Tucker Randolph and Susan Marian Reed were each
united in marriage by Rev Reubin Ellis in Lawrence Coty Alabama
September 1st, 1842

	Joseph Tucker Randolph and Lucie Jane Pendleton were each
united in marriage by Rev T. J. Kouger in Noxubee County Missis-
sippi Feby 4th, 1858

	Mitchel Alexander Embry and Virginia Chappell Randolph
were each united in marriage by Rev David Dupley in Oktibbeha
Coty Missi Sept 11th, 1862

	Orval Abraham Gibson and Josepha Marian Randolph were
each united in marriage by Rev W. H. Davis in Oktibbeha Co
Missi on __ day of December 1867

	Leo Tucker Randolph and Mary Louise (Stickney) Randolph,
widow of Edward Brett Randolph, of Greensboro, Ala, were married 
July 1st, 1903, at Washington, D.C. by Rev. Dr. Randolph Harrison
McKinn.  No issue 8-8-21.

Mississippi March 4th, 1849

5 - 	Josepha Marian Randolph was born in Lounds Coty,
Mississippi July 20th, 1851

6 -	Mary Jain Randolph was born in Lounds Coty,
Mississippi August 17th, 1856

7 -	Joseph Henry Randolph was born in Oktibbeha Coty,
Mississippi August 18th, 1859

8 - 	Leo Tucker Randolph was born in Oktibbeha Coty,
Mississippi August the 6th, 1861

	Susan Marian Randolph departed this life April 25th, 
1857 - Without a murmer, without a struggle.  Oh how hard to
give thee up my Dear Susan, my loss is thy gain, Go meet thy
Saviour, and thy sainted children

1 - 	Lucretia Tucker Randolph departed this life in 
Lawrence Coty, Ala July 14th, 1844

2 -	Alpheus James Randolph departed this life in Lounds
Coty, Missi February 13th, 1848

3 - 	Elizabeth Susan Randolph departed this life in 
Lounds Coty, Missi August 26th, 1849

4 -	Mary Jain Randolph departed this life in Lounds Coty,
Missi December 25th, 1857

5 - 	Sidney Richard Randolph departed this life in 
Oktibbeha Co, Missi March 13th, 1864

	My mother, Lucretia Tucker Randolph, in the 77 year
of her age departed this life in Oktibbeha County, Missi 
October 13th, 1861 - farewell dear Mama - J. T. Randolph

	Josepha Marian Gibson departed this life in Clay Co, Missi
on August the 9th, 1889 - leaving five dear children and a kind
affectionate husband.  She was a true christian, a devoted child
to her parents, her husband and children.  Her precious spirit is
with God who gave it, with her sainted Mother and her offspring
who had proceeded her.

	Callalilly, daughter of J. H. & Dora Lee Randolph
departed this life in Lake County, Fla and was laid to rest in
Lone Oak Cemetery to rest, a dear sweet child.

	Joseph Tucker Randolph departed this life on March 19th,
1891 in Lake County, Florida

	Lucy Jane Randolph departed this life on July 11th, 1899 in 
Lake County, Florida

	Willie Lillian Gay, wife of Leo Tucker Randolph, was born
in Quitman County, Georgia, September 3rd, 1876, married in Randolph
County, Georgia, June 29th, 1893, and died on September 28th, 1897
in Randolph County, Georgia.  She died in childbirth, giving birth
to a stillborn girl baby - no issue living


Note: Family Register pages were removed from the Bible on 
      August 9, 1921 at Leesburg, FL, by J. H. Randolph, with
      his remark:  "The family record taken from the old family
      Bible, including my father Joseph T. Randolph, my mother
      Lucy Jane Pendleton and their marriage and family.
