Location: West on 463 a short way to the intersection with Mannsdale Road
go north approximately 1.1 miles on Bozeman Road. The cemetery is located
on a road to the left approximately 500 feet off Bozeman Road. A road around
the cemetery was made in order to preserve the cemetery in developing a new
subdivison.

"The cemetery is located in a pasture near the road but inaccessible from the
road. It is enclosed in an iron grill fence approx. 36 by 36 feet, with
heavy iron corner posts, part of the fence has fallen and 8 or 9 large cedars
and a large oak tree have grown up in and around the graves. Although only
three graves are marked, the size of the enclosure would indicate that it was
intended for more of the family. This cemetery was also found the Mississippi
Genelogical Society's Cemetery and Bible Records (Volume XIII) 1969, pp. 125-126.
Therefore we have added the facts which are contained in this one as follows:
"The old Lewis house still stands. The plantation is now owned and occupied
by Mr. Murray Cox, Sr. The house was built by Hugh Lewis in 1840, the timber
was hand dressed, sills hand hewn, and the brick made by slaves. and wooden
pegs were used in the construction. Even the disjoined kitchen still stands
and is used for storage. Majestic trees surround the house. The cemetery is
located in the pasture near the road but inaccessible from the road. It is
enclosed in an iron grill fence approximately by 36 x 36 feet, with heavy iron
corner posts; parts of the fence are fallen and 8 or 9 hugh cedars and a large
oak tree have grown up in and around the graves. Although only threee graves
are marked, the size oof the enclosure would indicate that it was intended for
more of the family -- M.L.Upton"
