   My Bill

   Come and walk with me

Well recall memories, as it used to be

You so handsome, me so sweet

It was destiny, we should meet

Marriage was but a stepping stone for our lasting home

In one year and out the other

   You a father and I a mother

What precious gifts weve given one another

A boy for you, a girl for me

   Weve continued the family tree

Now they are grown and gone from home

   With families of their own.

   Were again all alone

God has blessed each of us from above

Teaching the true meaning of love

May I take a minute of your time

These words come from my heart

Youve always been my better part.

How wonderful these years have been

Youve been both a husband and a friend

My hearts delight, both day and night

To our sorrow, one day there will be no tomorrow

Should the sun set low and I have to go. Remember

As I sleep, these memories I so want you to keep.

   Togetherness

We are finally together in our heavenly home

To walk hand in hand down memory lane,

What beautiful sites we see before us.

Our tasks are done on Earth below

And now we step back to watch the show.

Down on Earth are our children of two, who

Will bear our love for eternity. From that

Love has grown four more, who are our pride

And joy. What fun it is to see them play and

Know that our legacy continues to grow.

Weep not our loved ones, for we are not far

Away, our love for each other will always

Be within our hearts. Someday we will be

Together in Gods heavenly palace, until then, go

Forward my children knowing that our love and memories

   Will always be with you.

   Viola Lairson Breeden

When I come home to Heaven

   How joyful it will be!

For on that day at last

   My risen Lord I'll see.

   No Greater Happiness than

To see Him face to face,

To see the love in His eyes

   And feel His warm embrace

   I've done nothing to deserve

   That perfect home above.

   It was given freely through

   The grace of Jesus' love.

   Then why should earthly cares

   Weigh down upon me so?

   They'll be a distant memory

When home at last I go.
